New camera-based presets
You can now automatically apply preset to all new photos of a particular camera. If you are always doing the same settings, just create a default and apply it automatically to pictures in that camera. This is very useful if you have created a tailored camera profile or you have converted a camera to infrared.
New color-sensitive gradient masks
Everyone knows how powerful the gradient mask tool is. You can quickly create straight, reflective or round radiant masks that can be edited and mixed with brush masks. You can now combine the color-sensitive power we created for Perfect Brush with the gradient masks. When enabled, it detects color during gradient and only applies the mask to the adjustable color range. This makes it easy to hide areas like the sky while at the same time keeping things like buildings or trees rising in the air.
New HDR and Pano Batch
Save time by batch-processing your HDR brackets or panoramic images. Simply organize your brackets in subfolders, then let Browse create your new HDR and panoramas for you. It’s a lifeline for property shooters.
New user interface improvements
We have taken a cautious approach to updating the user interface. Based on consumer feedback, we have improved standard controls such as sliders to be more precise and a longer label area so that we can be more descriptive. We have also made sure that the Editing Layers and Modules tabs do not scroll out of sight on a small screen or when you have a large pile of filters.
New coats of paint are filling
We brought the layers of paint filler back to the storage box. They are a great way to set the background color for a composite layout. They are also useful when used with the new custom brush shapes for painting over objects such as grass, trees and clouds.
